One of the more surprising things we saw during FlightSimExpo 2023 was Aerosoft bringing their long-awaited Airbus A330 for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
During our time at the show, a number of us managed to get hands on with the plane. We also got the opportunity to speak to Aerosoft about how the project is going, including an anticipated release. Whilst Aerosoft would not commit to the release itself, they did say they are aiming for a Summer 2023 release. The team are very excited to finally get this into the hands of simmers, especially those looking for a long-haul aircraft.
Alongside this, a new trailer from AviationLads also debuted during the event, giving us even more insight into the Airbus aircraft. You can watch it above.
We do have our hands-on impression coming up for you very soon, so keep your eyes peeled for that. Suffice to say, this is an aircraft that many people are keenly looking forward to trying for themselves when it does release this Summer (hopefully).
Following the release of the A330-300, Aerosoft plans on working on the A330neo.
