The developers at Parallel 42 bring another utility to their lineup in the form of an installer aimed at simplifying installations and identifying add-on conflicts. This freeware utility, named Simstaller, is labeled as a revolution by the Parallel 42 team as its built-in conflict scanning capabilities will put an end to the overwriting and deletion of core files, causing issues down the road for simmers.
The tool is rather simple to use, running as a lightweight Windows app outside the sim. In addition to installing files, the Virtual File System (VFS) will scan and detect issues with fonts, VFX, avionics, and more. For those of us downloading swaths of content from FlightSim.to or trying our darndest to diagnose issues with the sim, Simstaller might be the solution.
