LatinVFR Releasing A340-300 for MSFS via the Marketplace Tonight

LatinVFR has confirmed that their hotly anticipated A340-300 for Microsoft Flight Simulator will be released this evening on the Marketplace. Whilst you wait for it to appear in the store, we have the product details and information for you.

The A340-300 is one of the smaller versions of the aircraft and was designed in tandem of the A330 as a way to enable airlines to operate in extended operations in areas that didn’t have suitable airfields. This was before ETOPS become as widespread and as reliable as it is today. The A340 saw plenty of operators fly the aircraft to various locations around the world.

In terms of features, LatinVFR says this is a customised version of the plane, simulating basic cockpit functionalities. This means you will be able to complete A-B flights successfully under normal operations. There is a detailed A340 cockpit, with HD texturings and most basic systems/buttons are modelled. You can make use of fuel dumping capabilities, along with using the full VNAV functions, and flight dynamics that resemble the A340-300.

There is also Navigraph integration, SimBrief flight plan injection (including oceanic crossing info), along with a full cabin interior, realistic sounds and an onboard EFB. A total of 32 liveries will be available from a global range of airlines.

LatinVFR promises more updates in the coming months that will further enhance it.
