Anticipation for PMDG’s Boeing 777 in Microsoft Flight Simulator continues to grow with their latest screenshot added to their Facebook page.
The image used as their cover photo on the social media site is of the Boeing 777-300ER, registered N773ER, seemingly on approach, with its leading edge devices and speedbrakes extended.
It goes without saying that the 777 remains one of the most highly anticipated releases to the simulator to date, with the image gaining well over 1000 likes on Facebook and receiving countless comments. One comment remarked ‘Looks like it’s on final approach…’, with another begging ‘Oh come on…..release it….now!’.
During a development stream in March, PMDG’s Robert Randazzo mentioned an estimate release date of two months, which would put the release sometime during May. He went on to say there would be a two week notice before release.

A few days prior to the most recent screenshot, another image was posted on their Facebook account of the flight deck pictured at night time.
Speculation among the community is rife, with many wondering whether these images constitute the two week warning as stipulated by Mr Randazzo, although this is not confirmed and remains guesswork at this time.
Needless to say, much like we noticed the mouse above the rear door, we’ll be sure not to miss this mammoth release to the sim. Stay tuned.
