Hype Performance Group has suspended the sales of their recently released 747 Supertanker. The announcement of the team was made over on Twitter. The suspension of sales is effective immediately and the aircraft is currently not available for purchase anymore. The product page has also been taken down entirely.
The team did not give a reason for the suspension, but co-founder and director Steve did inform us that they anticipate to explain the situation in a follow-up announcement soon.
Customers that have already purchased the 747 Supertanker and would like a refund can request one from Hype Performance Group by contacting them directly. Although no details have been shared, this could indicate that the team will not continue to support the product for those customers, and does not anticipate it to go back on sale.
HPG’s 747 Supertanker was released just a few days ago. It allowed customers to take control of a 747 Supertanker to help suppress and put out wildfires, as well as provide assistance with other ecological disasters. The plane was built upon the default Boeing 747 available in MSFS.
