Hype Performance Group (HPG) has announced its newest product for Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS), the Airbus Helicopters H160, and will be released on Friday 27 October 2023.
The H160 is a medium utility helicopter developed by Airbus Helicopters. It was formally launched at Heli-Expo in Orlando, Florida in 2015, and is intended to replace the AS365 and EC155 models in the firm’s lineup. The H160 is designed to be one of the most technologically advanced helicopters in the world, with a focus on safety, comfort, and performance. It features a number of innovative design features, including a biplane tailplane stabiliser for greater low-speed stability and a canted fenestron anti-torque tail rotor, which reduces noise and vibration.
The HPG H160 has many features (see below for a full list) including a highly detailed 3D model of the helicopter, advanced avionics, and a powerful 4-axis autopilot. The helicopter can be flown in either realistic or arcade mode, making it suitable for both experienced and novice pilots. Releasing for MSFS, the helicopter is also expected to be compatible with MSFS 2024.
