The ongoing rework of the warbird’s sounds continues.

Warplane developer FlyingIron Simulations has released a short YouTube video which showcases some of the work they have been doing to rework the sounds included with their Supermarine Spitfire for MSFS.

In the video, we see that the newly updated sounds have much more bass, which gives a greater sense of the speed and power with which the Spitfire flies.

FlyingIron are currently in the process of reworking a number of sounds for the aircraft, including those produced by the famous Merlin engine.

The Spitfire product received its most recent update 1.3.0 in January, with a comprehensive changelog including a number of reworked sounds. The video being released is a positive indication that the sound rework continues apace.

FSElite will bring you more of the news on the Spitfire’s sound rework when we have it.
