Ontario International Airport (KONT) is located 2 miles east of downtown Ontario and 38 miles east of Los Angeles. The airport features two long parallels runways making it a perfect alternate airport and is a cargo hub for UPS. FedEx has a number of flights into Ontario and just recently, a new cargo ramp was constructed for the airline. Two terminals are on the main airline ramp with 13 and 14 gates respectively.
Southwest and Frontier operate most of the flights in and out of the airport with destinations spread across the United States. Other airlines like jetBlue, Hawaiian, Alaska, American, and others have daily flights into the airport. China Airlines operates a once weekly flight to Taipei on the Airbus A350. UPS flies the MD11, 767, and 747 into the airport with service to various airports in the United States and Tokyo Narita.

VerticalSim has recreated Ontario International Airport with the help of high resolution textures and PBR material on all airport objects. Over the past few years Ontario has had airfield work completed and this rendition of the airport is the most up-to-date featuring the new FedEx Ramp and taxiways. Moving vehicle traffic can be seen on the airport, static cars help fill the parking lots bringing the area to life. HDR lighting is used on the airfield and SAM jetways are connected to the terminal. The free SAM Plugin is required for the jetways to work.
