Aerosoft has released Newcastle Airport (EGNT) for X-Plane 12/11. The newly released airport comes with a range of features and takes advantage of the new technology found in X-Plane 12.
Newcastle Airport is an international airport located near the city of Newcastle upon Tyne in North East England. It serves as a gateway to the region for both domestic and international travelers. The airport offers a range of flights to various destinations across Europe and beyond, including popular holiday spots, business hubs, and city destinations.
Included is 20cm/pixel photoscenery, along with custom PBR ground textures, animated vehicles and animated jetways (requires the SAM plugin). Furthermore, there is fully custom 3D buildings, interior modelling in the towers and plenty of vegetation to make the whole area look realistic.
On X-Plane 12, the scenery includes revised lighting to be custom to the simulator’s engine, along with revised ground textures, X-Plane 12 3D vegetation, support for weather effects such as rain, snow and ice, along with full support for X-Plane 12 seasons without the need of additional plugins.
