UK2000 Scenery has had a stint of releases across the pond in the United States, but now they are returning to their roots with their next release. London City Airport (EGLC) is located in the heart of the city of London, UK, and offers an interesting approach and view of the capital city.
The airport itself has a short 5,500ft runway and a steep 7.5 degree ILS approach, meaning that only a limited number of aircraft can fly to and from London City. This includes aircraft such as the Embraer eJet Series, the BAe 146, and also specially modified Airbus A318 aircraft. The airport serves a number of domestic and European destinations, and brings passengers right into the city center, alongside the River Thames.
UK2000 Scenery hasn’t made is super clear exactly what their product features, or why someone would purchase it considering that Orbx already has their version on the market (and cheaper).
Regardless, UK2000 Scenery has said that the airport will be made available to buy for Microsoft Flight Simulator on May 4th 2023 for £14.99.
