FSElite has been granted exclusive access to pre-release version for some of Orbx’s upcoming releases for the new Microsoft Flight Simulator. During the whole weekend, expect to see a range of screenshots, videos and more for each of their products already confirmed to be coming to the platform.
It should be noted that these previews are from a pre-release build from Orbx and these previews do not indicate an immediate release as no release date has been confirmed. That said, please enjoy the selection of shots we’ve put together.
Our first set of previews cover London City Airport (EGLC). Perhaps one of the more interesting airports for it is sat in the heart of one of the busiest cities in the world. Included with the scenery is a range of very detailed and rich custom ground textures and advanced dynamic lighting. There is also a range of custom 3D static models for a variety of aircraft including the Dash 8 Q400 and British Airways’ E170.
In particular, we are loving the way the PBR ground textures reflect the wet weather when the weather turns typically grey and misty, along with how the windows on the terminal building dynamically reflect the environment around it.
