Last month, Turtle Beach announced it would be entering the flight simulation hardware market with the VelocityOne Flight Control System. Today, they confirmed that flight simmers will be able to go hands-on with the VelocityOne Flight Control this September at FlightSimExpo in San Diego.
Turtle Beach says that they have collaborated with both engineers and pilots to design and produce the flight controls. Using the skills and experience of producing other gaming controllers and headsets, the team at Turtle Beach say they have created the most comprehensive flight control solution that anyone can easily set up and play. Designed for PC and Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, the control set-up will enable simmers to easily fly around virtual skies.
With an exhibition booth at FlightSimExpo 2021, simmers will get the chance to go hands-on with the controls and experience it first hand. Not only that, but Juergen Stark, Chairman and CEO of Turtle Beach will be there to take questions about the product. In fact, he will also be giving a seminar on Saturday, 25th September 2021 at the show.
“With the imminent launch of Microsoft’s Flight Simulator 2020 on Xbox Series X|S, and the upcoming launch of VelocityOne Flight in the coming months, we couldn’t be more excited to introduce this unique, all-in-one device to flight simmers at FlightSimExpo in September,” said Juergen Stark, Chairman and CEO, Turtle Beach Corporation. “We’ve designed a fully integrated system that works with Xbox and PC, and one that effectively simulates both larger commercial airliners and smaller aircraft. VelocityOne Flight provides everything a new flier needs, along with the capability and features that hardcore flight simmers want. For the great price of $349.95, there’s nothing else like it, and we can’t wait to show it off!”
