Los Angeles’ second-busiest airport, Long Beach Airport – Daugherty Field (ICAO: KLGB), has released in X-Plane 12 by developers Skyline Simulations.
The multi-runway airport to the south of Los Angeles welcomes a host of flights from across the United States, handling well over 1 million passengers each year. By far the airport’s busiest operator is Southwest Airlines, operating to a wide-variety of destinations.
Skyline Simulations’ product features ultra high-definition custom textures, PBR materials on all buildings and an accurate depiction of the city using original OSM data. The scenery is also compatible with Orbx True Earth.
Furthermore, the scenery uses FSLife – Airport Sounds and FSEco subsystem to enhance the product. Locally, the scenery also depicts the famous Walter Pyramid and the nearby industrial area on the approach to the airfield, with thousands of hand-placed objects.
