After the announcement last week that RW Profiles has cut ties with popular freeware site Flightsim.to, the developer has announced a new partnership with iniBuilds. Under this partnership, their content will be exclusively hosted by iniBuilds.
RW Profiles is a popular creator of GSX profiles for various airports. The new partnership between RW Profiles and iniBuilds is significant in that sense, as iniBuilds started out as a developer making custom GSX profiles and has since grown to be one a large, well-known and mainstream developer of sceneries, aircraft and more.
The content will be hosted via iniBuilds “within the next few weeks”. Hosting it there and allowing it to be installed via iniBuilds’ Manager brings several advantages to end users, such as automatic installation in the GSX folder, update notifications, automatic update installation via the Manager and integration (pop-up) for purchased sceneries via the iniManager where an RW Profile is available.
Until the integration via iniBuilds is complete, RW Profiles’ content is still available via their Discord. The team has removed all their content from Flightsim.to.
