iniBuilds has issued a big update for its Los Angeles Airport (KLAX) on Microsoft Flight Simulator. The new update focuses on performance, remodelling various parts of the airport, implementing new LOD techniques and a whole host of other fixes. We saw some previews of this update earlier this week.
Version 1.2.0 of Los Angeles Airport sees terminal 3 updated to the most-current layout and all parking and jetways have been updated accordingly. There are new building and terrain models that have been updated to ensure they load in the simulator more accurately and in general are much better on performance. Some of the texture sizes have also been reduced thanks to new techniques, again, offering a boost in performance.
Around the airport, other things like taxiway signage, ground service equipment and the actual ground layout has seen various improvements and updates based on feedback or real-world changes.
The new update is free of charge to all customers who previously purchased the product from iniBuilds. Just load up the iniManager and get downloading.
If you haven’t picked up a copy, you can do so from their store for £14.99 whilst its on sale (normally £19.99 – prices exclude taxes).
