Following the release of City Update 6: Southwest Germany, Microsoft has released Local Legend 15 for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The Dornier Do 31 is now available for the simulator for $14.99 USD.

Developed by iniBuilds, the aircraft is unique in that there are only 2 airworthy ones in the world. It’s an experimental, jet-propelled, vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) cargo aircraft that was designed for military use.

Operated by a crew of two, the Do 31 can fly a range of 1,120 miles and fly at an altitude of 35,100 feet above sea level. During normal cruising, the aircraft maintained a velocity of 348 miles per hour, with a top speed reaching 377 mph.

The product has been designed based on real-world data and comes with an impressive 3D model and cockpit. The texturing has also been recreated to a high-level of accuracy. Expect to also find a number of liveries, including E1 Experimental, E3 Experimental, Olive Green, Green Camouflage, Marine Search & Rescue, Xbox Aviators Club, and Aviators Club.

As mentioned, you can buy Local Legend 15: The Dornier Do31 from the in-sim store for $14.99 USD.
