Parallel 42 Shows Small Preview for Immersion Effects on MSFS

For those who may not know, the immersion effects available by Parallel 42 were originally released and developed by an older developer known as OldProp. Immersion effects were the bread and butter for the team at OldProp, with a unique series of effect packages made specifically for a number of third-party aircraft. When OldProp became Parallel 42, immersion effects were still going to be a big part of their future offerings.

Whilst the advent of Microsoft Flight Simulator made them pivot to other areas (most recently the wonderful Juice Goose), Parallel 42 wanted to be sure to provide a product that saw them head back to their roots. A new //42 Immersion Pack is on its way and by the looks of it, the 747-8i appears to be the first aircraft to receive the treatment.

On X, Parallel 42 said, “//42 Immersion is coming, offering UNPARALLELED realism and the ease of use you’ve come to expect from us.”

We’ll be keeping our eyes peeled and look forward to learning more about what Parallel 42 has in store.
