The 16th World Update of Microsoft Flight Simulator is here. The update, which is available for free from the MSFS Marketplace, covers the Caribbean and brings with it improvements for a number of countries, new points of interests, new activities to explore the area and several new airports.
The update covers a range of islands such as Antigua, Aruba, Bahamas, Barbados, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Dominican Republic, Grenada, Haiti, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Saint Kitts & Nevis, Trinidad & Tobago, Turks & Caicos, and the United States Virgin Islands.
These islands can be explored in any of the new activities, including three new discovery flights, three new landing challenges and three bush trips that will show you some of what the region has to offer. A total of 104 points of interest has been added all across this region, including landmarks such as the Bahama’s Nassau Harbor Light House, Jamaica’s Colbeck Castle, Puerto Rico’s Faro De Pampatar and Trinidad & Tobago’s Red House.
The 7 new hand-crafted airports by Gaya Simulations included in this update are the Dominican Republic’s Gregorio Luperón International Airport (Puerto Plata Airport, MDPP), Haiti’s Antoine-Simon Airport (MTCA), Jamaica’s Sangster International Airport (MKJS), Trinidad & Tobago’s A.N.R. Robinson International Airport (TTCP), North Eleuthera Airport (MYEH) and Guadeloupe’s Les Saintes Airport (TFFS).
