The Microsoft Flight Simulator team has taken to their forums tonight to announce that Sim Update 15, which was due to be released tomorrow, will now be delayed with a new release date to be confirmed.

It means that the iniBuilds A320neo, which is already available in the beta branch of MSFS, will now see its release delayed for a second time as the Microsoft Flight Simulator developers work on further optimisations and fixes.

In the short statement, Microsoft do not state any specific reason for the delay, although more broadly they say quote: “Your feedback has helped us to identify issues that we would like to continue to work on, so many thanks from our team for your detailed reports.”

The statement continues “Our beta testing will continue during this time, and forum discussion can be accessed here.”

The statement ends by thanking the community for their patience and understanding.

As previously stated, no new release date is specified although Senior Community Manager Jummivana does say that the release will come at some point in the month of April.

FSElite will continue to bring updates when further information becomes known.
