Coming off the back of their successful 146 Professional for Microsoft Flight Simulator, Just Flight is back with a new update for the plane. This time, the team are revamping the cabin to include more features and be more realistic than ever.
The new cabin is modelled based on a high-density 3+3 layout, including the layout at the rear of the plane as the curvature of the fuselage caves inwards. There’s also mini overhead bins above the row of seats at the wing structure and also the blanked-out windows for the air conditioning ducts.
The forward galley is also getting an update, with a fully-functional cabin attendant panel. This will allow you to control cabin lighting, ground power and other annunciators such as the seatbelt signs and door locks. A similar panel is also found in the rear galley and operates just as it would in the real plane.
The team said that despite the details, performance impact is minimal. However, if you don’t want the cabin, you can disable it via the EFB.
Other minor updates to come will include the ability to now open/close doors by clicking on them rather than exclusively through the EFB. If you also want to, you can play new music via the built-in DR4100 Digital Player. You can add your own music, or leave it up to the automatic cabin crew to do just that.
The new update will be freely available to all PC and Xbox users once it is available. More information on the 146 Professional update will be made available in due course.
