Microsoft has this afternoon published a new pre-release test build of Sim Update 15 to the beta branch of Microsoft Flight Simulator, which for the first time since November 2023 includes the iniBuilds A320neo.

The aircraft is slated to release with Sim Update 15, which is currently targeting next Tuesday March 26 for public distribution. It does not replace the default Asobo A320neo but will rather co-exist alongside it as a free update to all MSFS users.

As we previously reported, the addon was last included in a beta build of Sim Update 14 back in November 2023, however the Airbus was later pulled from the update following reported issues of instability and high crash rates. Jorg Neumann, CEO of Microsoft Flight Simulator, later went on to confirm that the aircraft was not up to standards required for an official release and that development would continue until the product was ready for inclusion in the sim.

If you’d like to give the new A320neo a try ahead of it’s (targeted) official release next Tuesday, you can do so by following this guide.
