After releasing the same airport for MSFS last year, FSDG has released their Accra airport scenery for P3D v4/5.
Kotoka International Airport (DGAA/ACC) is the primary gateway to Accra, the capital city of Ghana, and has been frequently recognized as the best airport in Africa. The airport initially served as a military airport for the British Air Force during World War II and was eventually converted to a passenger air travel facility. In 2013, the airport authority announced plans to upgrade the airport’s facilities, including the expansion of Terminal 2 and the construction of the new Terminal 3, which opened for service in 2018. Today, the airport is a hub for Africa World Airlines and has airline service from several African, American, European, and Middle Eastern carriers.

Like the MSFS version, FSDG has ensured that the P3D version of its Accra scenery is as detailed as possible and accurately depicts the real-world airport. The scenery includes the interior modeling of the terminals, 3D-modeled passengers, SODE jetways, the modeling of the surrounding city buildings, and more. FSDG has also included static aircraft throughout the airport, which can be disabled if the user desires. Overall, the level of detail in the modeling makes this airport an immersive experience for any flight simulator pilot.
You can get your copy of FSDG’s Accra scenery for P3D from their website for €14.99, including VAT. FSDG also stated in their social media post for the Accra release that they are “not done with Prepar3D yet” and that we can expect more P3D sceneries later this year.
