Adding to your potential African route network, well-regarded scenery developer FSDG has released its rendition of Ghana’s Accra Kotoka International Airport (DGAA) for MSFS.
Accra Kotoka International Airport (DGAA) is an international airport serving the capital city of Ghana and is Ghana’s only international airport. The airport was initially established by the British Royal Air Force during World War II and originally served a purely military purpose. Following World War II, the airport was handed over to civilian authorities and has remained a civilian facility ever since. Today, the airport is a hub for regional Ghanian airline Africa World Airways. In addition to connecting many African cities, the airport also sees scheduled services to European and North American cities such as Amsterdam, Brussels, and New York, the last of which is serviced by Delta Air Lines using their Boeing 767 Jetliner.
Well-known scenery developer FSDG has now published its recreation of this crucial African aviation hub for MSFS users to discover. In addition to featuring an accurate and detailed rendition of all parts of the airport, including its GA and military aprons, the scenery also comes included with a carefully crafted 3d terminal interior, animated jetways, as well as static aircraft that populate all parts of the airport, a feature that can be disabled at the users’ discretion.
Prospective buyers can now purchase FSDG’s rendition of Accra Kotoka International Airport for MSFS via the FSDG online store for a cost of €18.00 Ex. VAT.
On a side note, the developer has indicated both on their Facebook page and on the FSDeveloper forum that a Prepar3D and XP11 version of the airport will follow soon. We will keep you updated when said renditions of the scenery have been published.
