When it was confirmed that the Tropicana in Las Vegas is being demolished on April 2nd, 2024, it meant that FlightSimExpo had to change venues. At the time, it was a bit in the air about whether the event would have to move dates. Today, it was confirmed that FlightSimExpo 2024 will be held on June 21st – June 23rd – the originally planned dates.
In a post on their website, it was confirmed that the show will still take place on the same dates, but a venue will be confirmed next week. The team said that securing a venue usually takes 4-6 months, but they have managed to complete the work in 3 weeks in order to ensure the event can go ahead as planned.
Flight Simulation Association (the organisers behind FlightSimExpo) has said that they will confirm the names of venues early next week to gather feedback from the community about the possible venues. Of course, we will let you know when this information is shared.
As previously communicated, if you have pre-booked rooms for the Tropicana, still hold tight until further communication is shared. However, you can now be confident in booking flights or other transport plans for FlightSimExpo 2024.
FSElite will continue to be at the forefront of communicating the plans so you can be confident about attending the show this June.
