Flightbeam has taken to their blog to confirm that the Microsoft Flight Simulator version of Auckland is fast approaching release. A short beta programme stands between now and a release. According to the application page, the beta testing process should last a single week (or even less), meaning a release is very close.
Mir said on the blog that Sim Update 6 saw some key issues fixed with the scenery and they are preparing it for a release. As mentioned before, Auckland Airport for MSFS is a different product from the Prepar3D release in order to achieve a native and high-quality product. As mentioned, Flightbeam has leveraged the power of the new platform and have added completely custom approach lighting, custom taxiway lights and also 3D characters throughout the airport.
Alongside the news, Mir shared two new images of Auckland in the simulator.

Auckland Airport on Prepar3D is now Flightbeam’s best selling product and no doubt will see similar success on Microsoft Flight Simulator.
