Flightbeam is back with a new preview set of their upcoming KSFO: Captain’s Edition. The new previews specifically focus on Harvey Milk Terminal 1 at San Fransisco International Airport (KSFO).
In the post on the Flightbeam blog, Mir describes this as an “absolutely massive” section of the airport which replaced the old Southwest building. The previews depict the sense of detail Mir is aiming to achieve with the all-new build of SFO.
Along with the details, Mir is very keen to “future-proof” the airport as much as possible. This means including state-of-the-art optimisations so that users have smooth performance when using KSFO: Captain’s Edition in Microsoft Flight Simulator.
The new previews of the exterior are already looking like they will be some of the finest work from Flightbeam, but Mir also said that there is also ongoing work for the interior as well, which has yet to be shown off. We expect that Mir will be working hard to make sure that there is a great balance between performance and visual eye candy to provide the best experience possible.
According to data, it is the seventh-busiest airport in the United States and the 24th busiest in the world by passenger count. Routes to and from the airport vary from short domestic flights to nearby county cities, all the way up to ultra-long-haul international routes.
As is usual with Flightbeam previews, everything is subject to change and no release date was provided. Be sure to stay tuned to FSElite whilst we bring you more details on Flightbeam’s KSFO: Captain’s Edition for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
