Microsoft has released the latest in the Famous Flyer series with the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries MU-2. The high-wing, twin-turboprop airplane flew first in 1963 and was developed until 1986. It has a rather remarkable design that originates from Mitsubishi Heavy Industries purely utilitarian design philosophy.
The MU-2 became a popular aircraft for civil and military use. Its high cruise speed, low landing speed and powerful twin-turboprop engines made it a versatile aircraft that was efficient and capable of a wide variety of ops.
