Eagle Dynamics, the studio behind popular combat Flight Simulator DCS-World, has released a free texture pack for aircraft in the Flaming Cliffs 3 series, available now to all DCS-World users.
The pack contains textures for the J-11A, Su-27, Su-33, F-15C and A-10A. These aircraft have received “significant” improvements and new textures which utilise PBR (physically based rendering) materials and techniques, enhancing realism.
The Flaming Cliffs 3 series of aircraft was originally made available in DCS-World all the way back in 2012, and going by images of the aircraft taken at that time, these textures were definitely in need of a refresh!
Existing customers of the Flaming Cliffs 3 pack can get the update for free now. If the new textures have whet your appetite for these fast jets, you can purchase the package now from the Eagle Dynamics website for $50 USD.
