MMOX, Oaxaca International Airport (officially known as Aeropuerto Internacional Xoxocotlán) is located in the State of Oaxaca in southern Mexico and offers a single 2,450 meter (8,040 ft) long runway and challenging, high-elevation terrain surrounding the airport with the quality and attention to detail we’ve come to expect from the developer.
Located 1,521 meters (4,990 ft) above mean sea level in Santa Cruz Xoxocotlán, Oaxaca, Mexico, Oaxaca International Airport, handles domestic and international air traffic for Oaxaca’s metropolitan area as well as a sizable portion of the southern Mexican state’s 4.0+ million population. The airport hosts military facilities for the Mexican Army, logistics and courier companies, and supports various aviation-related activities, such as tourism, flight training, executive transport, and general aviation. Thanks to Oaxaca’s popularity as a tourist destination, the airport has experienced rapid growth in recent years, serving a record 1,693,042 passengers in 2023.
