Cockspur, the developer behind the C510 Mustang, has announced they will soon release the Cessna 162 Skycatcher for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
The project was worked on as a way to clear the developer’s heads as they work on larger projects, which is why it has gone relatively unknown to the wider community. They don’t want to announce secret projects until it’s clear they are close to releasing it.

On Facebook, Cockspur confirmed that the 162 is complete, with just final packaging to be done. They have been working with pilot SparkyPilot86 to bring the aircraft to the simulator, as she flies the aircraft in real life. Together, they have ensured that the systems and flight model are accurate. Furthermore, Cockspur have got agreements with Rainier Flight Service to bring a number of liveries to the products.
We have some exclusive images of the plane in action.

We know that the Cessna 162 Skycatcher will be released in the coming weeks for both PC and Xbox. It will be priced at $19.99.
