Barelli MSFS Addons Release Bucharest Otopeni Airport

Scenery developer Barelli MSFS Addons have added Romania’s busiest international airport to their repertoire with their recently released Bucharest Otopeni Airport (ICAO: LROP).

Formally known as Bucharest Henri Coandă International Airport, named after the Romanian flight pioneer, the airport handled over twelve and a half million passengers in 2022. The dual runway airport on the outskirts of the capital city welcomes domestic flights, inter-continental flights from across Europe and even services to the Middle East and beyond.

Barelli MSFS Addons’ scenery features an accurate and up to date depiction of the relatively large airport, with the surrounding areas nicely emulated. The team’s Bucharest scenery is the latest European airport brought to life in the simulator, after Spain’s Malaga, Italy’s Rome Ciampino and Trieste International.

Having grown up a stone's throw away from Manchester Airport, Jordan had no choice but to love aviation and all things planes. With the help of flight simulators, namely FSX and more recently Xplane 11, he eventually muddled his way to sitting behind the controls of the real thing on a daily basis.
