Aerosoft Provides A330 Development Update

A new development update on the A330 for Microsoft Flight Simulator was shared on the Aerosoft development page. Aerosoft has been particularly quiet on the progress of the plane but said that as so many people approached the team during FSWeekend, they wanted to bring everyone up-to-date.

Over the past few weeks, the team has fixed a number of bugs and that the flying experience is getting smoother and smoother. However, with the team implementing other engine variants, the team is busy creating those assets in preparation to adding them to the simulator. Aerosoft confirmed that displays and sounds will be made custom for the other engine variants, including the PW engine.

The 3D is hard at work and it has been confirmed that the exterior model is now finished and that attention is being turned to the NEO’s cockpit as it undergoes final changes. Once it is ready, we will get to see new pictures.

We last heard that the Aerosoft A330 is aiming to now release “around the upcoming Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.” As a result of this, we will see the CEO and NEO variants of the plane being developed simultaneously.

As always, we’ll be sure to keep you updated with any further progress on the Aerosoft A330 for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
