Turweston Aerodrome Released for MSFS

Burning Blue Design, the development team behind a number of popular General Aviation airfields in the United Kingdom, has released their latest scenery for the MSFS platform.

Turweston Aerodrome (EGBT) can now be purchased from the company’s website, with a release on Orbx Direct and the Microsoft Flight Simulator Marketplace to follow shortly.

The Aerodrome is popular with private pilots in the U.K. due to its position in the countryside of Buckinghamshire, as well as its proximity to the Silverstone racetrack which is home to the British Grand Prix.

Until 2011 the airfield also hosted an annual “Wings and Wheels” event, showcasing light aircraft as well as vintage cars and farm machinery. In 2015 the airfield lost its CAA license, but continues to operate as an unlicensed Aerodrome.

FSElite will be bringing more coverage of product announcements and releases over the weekend as the flight sim community descends on Las Vegas for the annual Flight Sim Expo. Follow our coverage here to stay updated with all the exciting announcements!
