A whole bunch of new images for iFly’s 737-8MAX for Microsoft Flight Simulator has been shared over on the Flight One website. Over 30 new images were shared highlighting the aircraft’s cockpit, virtual cabin, and parts of its external model.
We can see in the flight deck a range of details, including dials, knobs and lighting used to annunciate things like the landing gear status. There are also details such as dust and scratches on various components of the plane. In the virtual cabin, we can see they have modelled a 2-class configuration, with loads of detail in the seat and lighting areas. We can also see the galley areas, the entry door areas, and the crew stations.

On the forums, iFly said that everything you see is still very much a work in progress. They said, “development is moving along nicely. We are also considering a Discord channel for easier development tracking on all devices.”
Sadly no other news was shared, so we’ll just have to keep waiting for more information. Once we do have it, we’ll be sharing it your way.
In related news, Microsoft announced that Asobo is developing the 737MAX series for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and will be Asobo’s most complex airliner yet. It’s yet to be seen just how complex, but Seb from Asobo gave us a good indication in our interview last week.
