A new video has popped up on the PMDG YouTube channel that promises to provide an in depth first look at PMDG’s 777 for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
The video is due to go live at 00:00 Zulu on Friday 15th March and promises to be a first look. It’s unclear if this will be a live demonstration or a pre recorded video by the team. However the video description does give us a bit of insight as to what to expect.
PMDG said that this is in celebration of the opening of FSWeekend in Lelystad this weekend, the team wanted to give a “quick glance” at the in-development plane. We have learned that “when completed” we will see the 777-200ER, 777-200LR, 777F, and the 777-300ER all in Microsoft Flight Simulator. Each airframe will feature accurate cockpit, engine and flight models.
As expected, PMDG will incorporate many of the technologies and techniques learned from past products into the new 777 line. Expect the Universal Flight Tablet, an expansion to their maintenance system and other unannounced features.
When completed, the PMDG 777 for Microsoft Flight Simulator product line will include the 777-200ER, 777-200LR, 777F and 777-300ER airframes with accurate cockpit, engine and flight models for each.
The video description ended by saying “we look forward to putting her in your hangar very soon!”
After the video has gone live, we will follow up with an overview of what was discussed.
Be sure to follow FSElite over the weekend for our FSWeekend coverage.
