After months of previews, Verticalsim’s Ontario International Airport scenery for MSFS has finally released. This is the developer’s 11th scenery for the simulator.
Not to be confused with the province in Canada, Ontario International Airport (KONT/ONT) serves Ontario, California, a city located about 38 miles east of Los Angeles. The airport was originally operated by Los Angeles World Airports, the organization that operates LAX Airport. However, LAWA transferred ownership to the Ontario International Airport Authority in 2016. ONT Airport serves as a major hub for FedEx Express and UPS Airlines, and is also served by almost all of the major U.S. airlines, Avianca, China Airlines, and Volaris.

Verticalsim’s rendition of Ontario International Airport reflects the 2023 version of the airport with custom jetways and taxi signs, accurate airport lighting, realistic terminal interiors, and more. The developer has also optimized LOD and used parallax in non-essential areas of the airport in order to maintain performance. Overall, this scenery provides flight simmers with a good alternative airport to the bustling LAX Airport.
You can purchase your copy of Verticalsim’s Ontario scenery directly from their website for $19.99. The scenery will also be available on the MSFS marketplace in a couple of days.
