Stepping into new territory, South Oak Co has released a new product for Microsoft Flight Simulator that adds new effects to the default Boeing 747-8i.
In the product, there are 11 different effects to visually see on the 747-8i. This includes engine intake vortices, wing condensation, flap trailing vortices, jet blast for rain and snow and also Saint Elmo’s fire. All of the effects are triggered based on real-world physics.
On their product page, South Oak Co says, “it’s a revolution in flight simulation, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.” They say this as the effects will only appear on your aircraft when they would appear in real life using the laws of physics.
South Oak says that the product is compatible with ‘most’ 747 liveries and other enhancement packs, including the Salty Simulations 747 mod.
Real Effects B747-8i is available through SIMMARKET now for €7.99. It will be coming to the in-sim Marketplace soon.
