Orbx has announced a new airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Václav Havel Airport Prague (LKPR) serves the capital city of the Czech Republic. The airport is a hub for Czech Airlines and Smartwings. It’s also a focus city for Eurowings and Ryanair.
Orbx rendition of the airport promises to be of high quality, with highly detailed modeling and high quality PBR textures. Orbx has also given the surrounding area of the airport a lot of attention. It will feature 21 custom points of interests, such as the Motol University Hospital, the Hvězda Summer Pavilion, Šestka shopping stores and more. The team has also added 90 square kilometers of custom orthoimagery to improve the default imagery in the simulator since it has been affected by cloud coverage.
The announcement of the scenery was made for Microsoft Flight Simulator, but Orbx ensures that work on the Prepar3D v4+ version of the airport is continuing and will soon enter testing.
