Although Orbx has just released a brand new aircraft for Microsoft Flight Simulator, it certainly hasn’t slowed down their indie developers producing new scenery products. Marcus Nyberg is back with the charming Asturias Airport (LEAS).
The airport is located in the North of Spain, near the Bay of Biscay. Due to its coastal location and nearby mountain range, the weather and approach at Asturias Airport can present quite a challenge to pilots. Airlines fly often to locations across Europe, including Madrid, Paris and London.

Marcus originally developed the airport for Prepar3D, but for this release, he has reworked almost everything for the Microsoft Flight Simulator version. There are now enhanced ground textures, new ground clutter and equipment, new custom animated jetways, airside traffic and additional optional static aircraft. Furthermore, Prepar3D owners will be able to get their hands on the MSFS version for 20% off.
Orbx has yet to disclose a release date, but it appears close to being released. Stay tuned to FSElite so we can inform you when you’ll be able to explore the Spanish city yourself.
