Microsoft Flight Simulator is a great simulator for general aviation flying, thanks to the detailed world and environment below. One developer that many have longed to see finally enter the market is A2A Simulations. We have known for a while that the team had been working on bringing the Comanche 250 to the simulator and we saw a detailed presentation of the aircraft during FlightSimExpo 2023. However, the latest previews from the team are some of the most detailed yet and give us a really good insight into what to expect from the plane.
Preview Images
A selection of new 4K images was shown off on the A2A Simulations website. We have a range of previews from both the external and internal view, highlighting the modelling and texture work that A2A will include with the Comanche 250. We also get a preview of the onboard tablet that will become quite useful throughout your flying experience.
New Video Footage and Tutorial
As the Comanche 250 gets closer to release, the A2A Simulations team has began releasing video content highlighting the plane. The first video released is all about the Accu-Sim Comanche 250 at cruise, whereby Scott gives information and demonstrations on achieving the most efficient way to make the aircraft fly.
It is 16 minutes of glorious footage that combines education and also a great look at some of the depth the Accu-Sim engine will bring to this aircraft.
Features
One of the key components of any product page is the feature list. A2A Simulations has already shared this with the community via their website ahead of the plane’s release. From the feature list, we have learned a lot about the upcoming Accu-Sim Comanche 250. This includes the new advanced turbulence system with subtle wing flex animation,s the new airframe vibration system, authentic fuel simulations and a physics-driven sound environment. A total of over a 1000 sounds have been recorded for the dynamic sound effects.
A range of displays and navigation tools are also part of the package when the Comanche 250 releases. This includes a JPI EDM 830 engine monitor, a Narco avionics stack with various navigation and com units, custom integration of the default/Working Title GNS 430W, and also support for the PMS GTN 750 and TDS GTN 750Xi if installed. There is also a custom simulation of the S-TEC system 30 two-axis autopilot.
Other standout features include a custom electrical system analyzer and circuit breaker functionality, animation avatars, interactive walk-around features, and above all, fluid in-sim performance.
The full feature list for the A2A Simulations Accu-Sim Comanche 250 is down below.
We are confident that the aircraft will release very soon for Microsoft Flight Simulator. We’ll of course keep you updated when we learn more.
