Microsoft’s latest Local Legend has been released for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Developed by the team at iniBuilds, Local Legend 13 is the Saab B 17A.
The Saab B 17A is a Swedish single-engine, two-seat dive bomber that was first introduced in 1942. It can reach speeds of 270mph and fly a distance of over 1,000 miles, giving you plenty of range to discover many parts of the world in this historical aircraft.
Here are the aircraft’s specs (as per the product page):
- Length: 32 feet, 10 inches
- Height: 14 feet, 9 inches
- Wingspan: 44 feet, 11 inches
- Engine: 1,065-horsepower STWC-3, an analog to the Pratt & Whitney R-1830
- Range: 606 miles
- Top Speed: 270 miles per hour
Local Legend 13 releases alongside World Update XV: Nordics and Greenland, giving you a chance to discover the aircraft in the region where it was developed.
