Just Flight has released the much anticipated GA twin Duchess Model 76 for X-Plane 12.
The aircraft has been produced in partnership with Thranda Design, and follows the studio’s X-Plane 11 version. The newly produced X-Plane 12 edition has been natively developed for the updated sim, and features 8k cockpit and exterior textures, PBR materials with real-time reflections, a number of custom animations including openable doors, an EFB (electronic flight bag), seven 8k resolution custom liveries, as well as the exciting new dynamic liveries feature, allowing the user to change the aircraft livery from the EFB without needing to exit or restart their simulator.
Also included is Thranda Dynamics’ DyanFeel system, which simulates the heaviness of controls in flight. Although you can still input maximum deflection on your controls at home, the DynaFeel system prevents the user from achieving full deflection in their simulated controls at higher speeds. This will affect your ability to perform slips and accelerated stalls.
The Duchess has been carefully studied and modelled to a high level of detail by the Just Flight team, and is flown all around the world. The team say that their inclusion of liveries from around the world, as well as the UK-based research aircraft G-BZRT and G-GCCL, show the global popularity of the GA twin.
You can purchase the Duchess Model 76 now from the Just Flight website for £30.49 including VAT.
