Merry Christmas to all FSElite readers! While you were enjoying some time off, you may have missed iniBuilds’ latest forum post which confirmed some important details relating to the release of the A300-600R for MSFS.
The post, which was published late on Christmas Day, confirms a number of free additions that will release with the A300-600R to assist users with operation of the aircraft.
These include a tutorial series, with an already-released “welcome to” video. The video (linked above), clocks in at 18 minutes and covers some of the history of the aircraft as well as the features we can expect to come with the plane when it ships later this week, including some maintenance options.
Additionally, iniBuilds is including an A300-600R and RF Simbrief profile in the post, which we can use from day 1 to get the best planning performance out of the plane as possible.
Also included on the forum post are paintkits for livery creators. These paintkits are available to download right now from the link here.
The short post rounds off with perhaps the most highly anticipated news: the release schedule and pricing. iniBuilds has now confirmed the price of the A300-600R will be £34.99 (excl. VAT), which places it competitvely among other popular high-fidelity airliners such as the PMDG 737 series and Fenix’s A320.
A release date is yet to be officially confirmed but we do know from the forum post that the product will be available some time later this week, meaning that we will definitely have the A300 this side of the New Year. It should be noted that this release date is for customers using the iniManager marketplace; it is yet to be seen when the plane will be available in the MSFS marketplace for Xbox players.
