During FlightSimExpo 2023, FSDreamTeam had its own booth showcasing a new update on GSX Pro.

GSX Pro is known for the way it adds new ways for you to interact with the airport environment like adding catering trucks, passenger busses, refuellers and animated passengers. Those animated passengers were confined to external views, with them moving from the bus or jetway, to the aircraft door.

However, FSDreamTeam will be taking that to the next step with a brand new update for GSX. The new update will add animated passengers to the inside of your aircraft, each has its own animation set.

Based on the brief conversation we had with FSDreamTeam, performance is mostly un-impacted by the addition of the 3D animated people inside the plane thanks to aggressive LOD modelling. A total of 9 LOD models have been created to ensure that performance is a top priority. FSDreamTeam said that the passengers are visible by panning the camera through the plane’s cabin, and also through the windows outside.

FSDreamTeam did not indicate a release for the update, but we did record some in-direct footage of it in action.
