After the biggest and most successful FlightSimExpo in Houston earlier this year, the team have confirmed that a 2024 show is in the works with the host city, hotel and dates now revealed. FlightSimExpo 2024 will take place at the Tropicana Hotel, Las Vegas (US) between June 21st 2024 and June 23rd.
Save the dates and start considering your travel plans, as there will be over 40,000 square feet of flight simulation goodness at the event when it takes place in Las Vegas next year.
“We are excited to bring FlightSimExpo back to Las Vegas,” said Evan Reiter, FSA co-founder. “The space at Tropicana is perfect for our event, while the destination offers a great backdrop for families, resort-seekers, and those who love gaming and entertainment.”
FlightSimExpo 2024 will kick off on Friday 21st June 2024 with a series of product announcements and seminars. Then, over the weekend, in-person attendees will have access to a 40,000-square-foot exhibit hall featuring the latest in-home flight simulation technology. Developer roundtables and educational seminars will take place throughout the weekend. As in previous years, simmers will be able to watch portions of FlightSimExpo from anywhere with the event’s Online-Only registration.
In Houston, we saw announcements from the likes of A2A Simulations, SoFly, Fast Cow, iniBuilds and more. Microsoft, Lockheed Martin and X-Plane also had their seminars and announcements that took place over the busy weekend, giving simulator fans plenty to enjoy.
Flight Simulation-related announcements, seminars and demos aren’t the only thing these shows are for. There are also plenty of opportunities to interact with the community, take part in social events, explore Las Vegas’ huge entertainment offerings and so much more.
Registration will begin in December 2023, so expect to hear more news about the show in the near future.
“Save the dates, start thinking of plans, but please don’t lock travel in yet,” says FSA’s Phil Coyle. “As always, we are working to secure airfare and car rental discounts along with awesome add-on activities on Thursday, Friday, and Monday for our attendees. You’ll want to have the full picture before you start booking.”
More information about hotel options, attractions, and travel will be available later this year. You can also stay updated via the FlightSimExpo Discord.
