Developer FeelThere recently took to their Facebook page to announce the release of their first Mexican airport scenery for MSFS with their new Puerto Vallarta Airport scenery.
Licenciado Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport (MMPR/PVR) is the main gateway to the popular Mexican vacation destination. The airport is the 7th busiest airport in Mexico and serves as a focus city for regional airline TAR Aerolíneas. With Puerto Vallarta being a popular tourist destination, there is extensive airline service to Mexico, Canada, the United States, and even TUI Airways Boeing 787 service to Manchester. In 2020, it was announced that Puerto Vallarta Airport would undergo a 4 billion pesos expansion to build a new terminal, leading to a roughly 60% increase in passenger traffic.
FeelThere’s rendition of Puerto Vallarta reflects the present-day version of the airport with PBR texturing on all of the buildings, an updated AFCAD, modeling of nearby hotels and city buildings, realistic decals, taxi lines, and more. To improve the realism, the scenery also features improved night lighting and objects and clutter scattered throughout the airport.
