For the eagle-eyed at FSExpo, Aerosoft had a nice announcement. Not only was the team showing a working demo of their A330 (more to follow on that in a later article), but those paying attention may have spotted a highly requested airport. Aerosoft was teasing some early renders of Frankfurt Airport (EDDF), Germany’s main international airport, in a preview and feature slide-show at their FSExpo booth.
Although the previews are mostly renders for now, they do look very promising and a lot of modelling details can be discerned. The few textured previews we can see, mostly close-ups of some details, do look promising as well. They show high quality textures with little elements of wear and tear, as well as a lot of detail.
Aerosoft also shared that Frankfurt Airport is being developed by Jo Erlend. Jo has been responsible for some highly praised sceneries in the past. The team hopes to release Frankfurt before the end of the year.
