Over on Facebook, developer Aeroplane Heaven has given a brief update on their upcoming Avro Lancaster for MSFS. It’s been a while since we last heard something from them on this project, with the latest previews dating back to November of last year.
The latest update on the aircraft states that work is commencing on the cockpit materials and textures. The flight model coding has also finally started, something that might come as a bit of a surprise given how “complete” the plane already looked when we last saw it. The team also teased some further expansions to the aircraft, such as a Mk.I and Mk.III, but only if time allows. Aeroplane Heaven also mentioned “extra functionality”, but did not provide any further clarification on this.
We recently learned that Aeroplane Heaven’s other project was the Boeing 307 Stratoliner for MSFS. This product has been released as a MSFS Local Legend, and is available right now through the MSFS Marketplace.
