A new company has appeared on the scene with a product that is aimed at a more casual audience. VA Schedules by DARKOCEAN has released two new packs that allow simmers in Microsoft Flight Simulator to take part in historical routes for various airlines. The first two packs released are for Virgin Atlantic 747-400 routes and Lufthansa.
Both packs contains dozens of routings that are from the schedule packs that VA Schedules provide to virtual airlines. This tool is useful for those looking to fly historial routes without the need to research route parings or generate their own flight plan. Each pack also features liveries for the aircraft.
The routes are pre-programmed, taking the hassle out of flight planning, while the fuel calculations are already taken care of. This means you can jump straight into the action, saving time and allowing you to focus on what you love most—flying.

This is a product set clearly designed for the more casual audience and may not resonate with every flight simmer out there. However, when we spoke to the team at VA Schedules during FlightSimExpo 2023, they said that they have more products to come in the future which will appeal to the more hardcore flight simmer. VA Schedules as a company has a database of over 500 airlines, generating over 8 million schedules in their database. They are looking to see how they can bring this data to customers in various methods.
For now, if you wish to check out their Virgin Atlantic or Lufthansa packs, you can find them over on SIMMARKET for €10.99.
