REX has released a new update for AccuSeason which now makes it AccuSeason Advanced Edition, adding all-new features to the already popular tool for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
The original AccuSeason allowed users to adjust the tree height and colouring within the simulator to give a more authentic-looking seasonal look. However, the new Advanced Edition adds terrain colouring, improved tree changes and new weather presets to give a more realistic look in the sim.
Terrain colouring is one of the biggest features of this new update. Along with adjusting the colour of the trees, the terrain can now be changed in order to better match the environment outside.
The new application will also install daily and weekly changes automatically, meaning you can set it all up and leave it to do its thing. Seasons are handled globally in a dynamic fashion, meaning you can take off from New York in the Winter and fly to Brazil whilst being presented with accurate-looking terrain and seasonality.
New biomes, tree types and other terrain features have also been added to better reflect the real world. This is in addition to being able to adjust the height of the trees.
REX AccuSeason Advanced Edition is a free update for all existing customers. AccuSeason is still $24.95 USD if you wish to buy it.
